Gosh--I would have thought Joe Vigil might have known what he's doing, but on your account he's badly informed. Wow.

Sorry to disappoint all, but Brenda has zero, and I mean zero chances of getting a medal in the 800 m. Not to say that she is not a good runner but, there are just too many runners better than her in this particular distance
There is the Burundian girl, who I think can and will only get better, some Russians, and a host of good runners from all over europe, africa and jamaica, she will not get a medal in 800m she will be lucky to get into the finals.
1500 m on the other hand she could medal and even get a win, Why? because (1) The top contenders in 1500 m (I count One Swede, One Ethiopian and two Kenyans) are over racing all everywhere right now, I think for these ladies money at the moment is more important than the title, I see a few injuries and fatigue to several africans before Moscow.
(2) Finals are a tactical affair and whomever has the most energy/tactics left at the end of the rounds going into the final is going to win. Time coming into Moscow wont matter. This season Brenda has shown some good strategic decesions
All the best wishes to Brenda, but, 1500 was your best chance
