I would put Gay's lead off at low 45, a standing start and handing off near the top of the zone. The relay was at 1:29 after the second leg which mean Gay and Wariner had to average a high 44.
Gay ran about 45.8. UF had their leadoff at 45.9 and Glass and Gay handed off in a virtual dead heat.
Gay and Wariner were not on the same team. So I'm not sure what a cumulative time would prove.
