Thanks, I had one from
www.oleoletv.combut this one seems a little better at the moment.
16:16 through 5km with Pavey still leading.
Long Sox, please keep the updates coming if you can - much appreciated here in Kenya!
Pavey dropped. Prokupchuka leading, 5 min mile pace for past 3 miles.
Dibaba and kiplagat in striking distance
Kigen doing a poor job pacing the men's race. Struggling to keep pace less than 3 miles in.
are you Ventolin?
OK, guys just dropped a 4:11. On or near course record pace.
Women, pack of 3 (Galena, Dibaba, Kiplagat) in the last 2.5 miles, on pace for ~68
When the real running started Dibaba was not to be heeded. Just ran away first from Galena, then from Kiplagat
Dibaba 67:32
Kiplagat 67:38ish
Galena 67:45ish
Prokachupka 68 and a couple
Dibaba wins in about 1:07:32.
Kiplagat second.

I'm guessing she runs in second place for most of the way, kicks in the final mile and wins in about 1:07:30.
Well I was wrong, she was running in 3rd or 4th for most of the way, but I wasn't far off with the time.
Good race for the men, with Kipsang and Kogo fighting it out over the last mile. Kogo leading.
Kogo looks like he pulls away from Kipsang in the last 800m. Then Kipsang pulls a furious spring in the last 100m
Kipsang: 59:07
Kogo: 59:08
Merga just under an hour.
Kigen, pacemaker gets ~60:15 for fourth.
Kogo thought he had Kipsang, and Kipsang let him think it
Thommo 61:00, only 1 second behind Jonesy's british-born record!

Yes, he suckered him. Kipsang does not look like he should have much of a kick--he has long loping strides. He moved at the last bit, though.
Bot of 1st two men were 1 second faster than I put above, just if anybody is curious.
what are the course records?
58:56 is what I heard them say for the men, so they were fairly close.
64:40 from Paula Radcliffe for the women (from memory).
