"5:35.73 at 2K, a 2:48 second kilo, still slower than 27:45 pace."

Derrick in last
That is typical for Derrick the first 1/2! Thanks much for all the updates, keep them coming please.
Derrick is hanging way too far back
Its seems to me that the most likely way to see an A standard in a race like this is a 13:55-14:00 1st half, picking it up slightly for the second half, and then guys dropping the pace down the last 800-1000. So a start like this could be just about right for hitting the A
28 flat pace
Rupp leading after 6 laps, another 68. 6:59.9 at 2500 meters, so basically 28:00 flat pace. Ritz is screwed...
Ritz will not get that standard. Too old.
True has the 'A' too, you know.
Announcers are dumb, talking about getting the 'B' standard. Ridiculous.
CD you gotta move up
Where is Teg?!?!
I'm watching the runnersworld coverage, this thread, & twitter. Stimulus overload!
8:55 3200m ritz, rupp,
yeah, but derrick went to stanford... he's kinda smart.knows 64 first lap isn't the greatest idea for him...

64.5 (Rupp)
68.5 (Rupp)
67.8 (Ritz)
67.2 (Ritz - 4:28.0)
67.1 (Puskedra- 5:35.1)
67.7 (Puskedra/Rupp)
67.0 (Rupp)
8:23.1 at 3k i think they said.
3200 - 8:56 so that's another 4:28.
Ritz now to the lead. Rupp 2nd, Chirlee 3rd. Three meter gap to True and then Puskedra. Id' say Teg is in 9th.
From runnerworld blog: 8:57 at 3200 meters. That was a 65.89 lap, gotta start getting down in that range.
who's this chirlee bro? is he going to be in it after 20 laps?
Teg doesn't run the 10k

Derrick sounds like he's playing it really smart in those conditions. He'll be there soon, I guarantee. Will Rupp take off with Ritz at 5K?
Ritz is headed for > 28:00 with Rupp kicking in in 27:50. They need someone to surge and soon
