Its clearly Ryan Hall.
The Christian thing is obvious.
That said he is constantly running terrible half marathons and other under-distance races and then coming up big in the marathons! (like tebow's garbage for the first 3 quarters before the rediculous 4th quarter.)
So hall hasn't won a major, but I don't anticipate tebow winning the superbowl either. That doesn't change the fact that they aren't supposed to be there: ryan because he's white and tebow because his throws look like wounded ducks. Yet Ryan is pretty much a lock to atleast break 2:09 and get top 5 and Tebow will throw or run for 150 yards and score once or twice in the 4th quarter.
And, they are both completely humble but also believe great things can happen given the chance.
I concur
The D has stepped up. Some of that might have to do with being comfortable in a new system since they had virtually no training camp to learn it. (Remember new coaching staff).
However, I find it disheartening that the defense would give up or not play hard regardless of the QB.
I have not liked Tebow and admit that I thought he would fail. He may yet--many QBs can have spurts like this and then regress (many get huge contracts out of it--Matt Cassell). My bias goes back his being a FL Gator. Dawgs hate Gators.
Slowly coming around. Even if he falls flat, it is exciting (I now live in CO). Started watching Broncos just to seem him fail. Now I watch to see how he and the team will pull it out.
I do have concerns (as a football fan, mostly college):
1) What happens if Tebow gets hurt? The offense is very Tebow-centric now. Quinn cannot come in and do these things. It is almost as if a team needs to go all in and have 2 similar QBs. It is the NFL and the QB is going to get injured and miss games (check the stats on how many teams play or start more than 1 QB because of injury). I suspect being mobile takes you out of situations where you might get hit hard, but it will put you in other situations where you will.
2) The Broncos have been playing great defense. How long can they keep it up? Winning games, in part, because a RB does not stay in bounds is hardly comforting. This is hardly the 86 Bears.

^^^^^THIS^^^^^^ I was actually thinking about this one earlier but not enough to post it. He stepped up big time. And not They would NOT have been back-to-back champs.
Denver Broncos = Superbowl Champ Baltimore Ravens w/Trent Dilfer just not screwing up and keeping the ball on the ground with an awesome defence to keep the score low
Th 2000 Ravens w/Trent Dilfer faced the unspectacular Giants with Kerry Collins.
Worse SuperBowl ever.
umm.... ever heard of Jordan Hasay?

Funny thing-
All I seem to hear is people ranting and raving about the defense should get the credit, no one is talking about the defense -
Guess what? You are talking about the defense. There has more talk about the Denver D this year than in any year in recent memory. There has been more talk about the Denver running backs than since the late 90's. Holy cow the whole team is getting talked about no stop. Look at this thread, How much praise has the D gotten? How much has Tebow gotten?
That being said... Von Miller = awesome!
Ouch.
I'm gay.. wow that feels better
Keep in mind this undeniable truth: Tebow kind of sucks. If I'm a "world class" miler (NFL level equivalent), and I win some races in 4:01... I SUCK! You're asking us this question: what track star sucks for 3/4 of a race but pulls it out at the end? The answer, of course, is: NO ONE! NONE OF THEM DO! Because in track you have to be good the whole race to win-- and you almost never have 21 other people making up for your shortcomings. In running, your performance, and your performance only, evinces your ability-- so let me rephrase the question: what distance runner wins races because his field goal kicker hits two over 50 and Barber fumbles?

Next.
I dont think Jenny B is appropriate as she was a sub-4 runner in college, meaning she was the #1 overall draft pick.
Umm Tebow as a first rounder.
Just the fact that people are trying to compare running to the NFL is ridiculous. That being said in no way does Tim Tebow suck. Any player that can be 7-1 as a starter in the NFL regardless of how it is done does not suck. If the D is the reason Tim Tebow is winning then why were they a 1-4 team with Kyle Orton taking the snaps. Prater's FGs were unbelievable but last time i checked he wasnt under center getting them into FG range with a 109 QB rating in the 4th quarter. Hmmm...also a "world class" miler is not NFL equivalent. They are in a completely different tax bracket for a reason
How could a discussion last for more than a minute without the obvious pick- Chuck Engle. All he does is win. All he does is SUCK. Self righteous as hell too.

+1. When the defense starts faltering, and they don't get miracles like two 50-yard field goals in one game, nobody will be talking about how good he is anymore.
I'd go Chris Derrick. gets the job done. seems very humble and although isnt considered the best, consistently performs well when it counts. kind of gets a bad rep too from some for not "going for it" (like not covering Lalang's move), similar to Tebow's poor throwing mechanics.
Mark Wetmores coaching of the Buffs
They are not flashy, underrated, and show up when it counts like Tebow.
On a side note pretty much every consistently good NFL team has a solid defense along with a quarterback that can manage the offense to score when necessary.
Baltimore and Pittsburg are prime examples of teams that have been doing just that for a number of years.
Don't be surprised if Denver is now a playoff team for years to come under Tebow.
