This will be extremely challenging to do. Injuries, illness, and motivation will be the biggest obstacles.

Depends on the pace
A 50 mile 10 minute pace
or a 50 mile 7:45 pace?
6 minute pace
How about a challenge of sub 5 minute mile at least once a year for 50 years.

My goal was just as odd. I juggled soccerball over 500times each day of the summer. It only took 5 to 10 minutes out of my day. I don't play soccer anymore so you could say I was just a soccer freestylest. There is a sport called soccer freestyle, where people just compete in soccer juggling competitions.
This is the lamest thing in the history of the internet.
A more worthwhile and productive goal would be to run two sub 30 200's every day. After your runs.

It was probably pointless, but it was good for loosing me up before my runs.
I once juggled a ball 3200 times at soccer camp.
Running a sub 5 minute mile ever day for a year would just cause injury.
The most worthless thing on the internet is a lady in NJ that wants to become the world's fattest mother. She has a website where you can send her food.
What does it all mean.
The question is freestyle soccer a sport onto itself. Do people make a living doing those tricks.
Here is an article on the NJ women's attempt to be the world fattest female. Sorry, but I can't find her website anymore. There was even an option to watch her eat in a bathing suit on the site.

As cartman says in South Park just follow your dreams.
My soccer juggling exploit took so little time out of the day that it really was not a waste of time.
My next goal is to run a sub 5 minute mile by 2013. I got a year.......

4:40
Had to run a 71 last 400 on the first day and ended up running 66.
Second day, came through the 12 in 3:31 and rested the last 400
The 4:40 was an accident, pushed too hard starting into the wind(22 mph) and did not back off until 250 to go(with wind).
I can see it now...when you are feeling sick or injured you will just go to a steep downhill and let the brakes off and go sub 5! ...either that or run with a 30mph wind!
Hey...whatever works....Ive seen similar threads fizzle out in the past....if you can do it...Kudos to you my friend!
ghost, I would love to see the kind of training that takes you from close to my mile pr to a 51:20 ten miler. what did you do?
The 4:40 was a 1 mile oval. Half against the wind and half with the wind. Run on the roads, weekends are small rolling hills. Weekdays are dead flat, due to running at work with no hills in sight.
Not going to do any downhill miles, or with wind.

How are you feeling 1 week in? Any reactions physically or mentally?
So far, so good. Keep on truckin'.
No chance your 10 mile time blows compared to your mile time.
And Michael Johnsons 400 time blows compared to his mile time. How often does someone run 10 mile races? Definitely not weekly.

It is harder than I thought. Almost did not go out Sunday, but my wife basically made me go to a track at 8:30pm. Not very hard physically (yet). But mentally it is tough to think about all day and to finally make the decision to go run. Weekdays are much easier when I have to run at 12:00 and cannot push it back.
Cutting it real close with those 4:59s huh?! Keep it up!
Perhaps there are some african marathoners who have completed this 10-fold!!
Another rooting for you.
