Haha you crazy for real, thats not gonna happen! You think he can break records like you said. Follow how long it took him to set the existing records and you'll understand what I am trying to say.
WOOOOOW, that one flew right over your head, didnt it?

I would love to see K. Bekele come back and run these guys into the ground. Not because I don't like them or anything; I just want to have to privilege to watch the greatest distance runner of all time in his prime. Kind of like what it must have been like for boxing fans to witness Ali fight in his prime, or to watch Michael Jordan in the early 90s.
I mean, most of us have seen Bekele win big races and set WRs already. He was on top of the world just a couple of years ago. But he is not yet the unanimous G.O.A.T is he? One could still argue that Geb deserves that title. No, I want to witness the point at which Bekele separates himself from Geb in the GOAT discussion. I want to see him win the world 10k title this year, and then do it again in London next year. Maybe he'll even move up to the marathon and run some phenomenal times before all is said and done. At which point we would all have to agree: Yes, we are now truly witnessing the greatest distance runner of all time. Watching good runners like Mo Farah and Bernard Lagat race is fun and I like those guys. I wish them the best. But it's not the same as watching KB do things that have never been done before.
Very well written, I think this ends the topic!!
There are now 6 entries in the 5000 - no KB yet. This event could alternatively be designed to help a couple of Brits hit the A-standard. Hoping it's the former, as I have 2 tickets sitting on my desk for this.

Diamond League.
Bekele has never been defeated at 10,000m in his entire career. While he has been out a long time, I don't think he would race in Daegu unless he knew from training that he is fit. Having run 26:19, he can be 30 seconds from his best and still beat almost anyone on their best day.
I think Farah or Lagat will win the 5, and Bekele will win the 10 if he runs, but I don't think he will find it easy!
