A lot of you post a bunch of ignorant sh*t on here. For those of you who lived in Vegas and didn't like it...oh well. Good thing you left. Las Vegas is a little segment of the valley. If you go 10 miles from the center any direction there are suburbs and great parks and running facilities. Henderson is one of the best places to run in the nation. Trails galore. Lake Mead by itself has enough trails for you to hit up a new run everyday of the year. Red Rock is also just a tiny sample of whats out there. Someone said 15 miles...thats paved. I have done 2- 30+ mile trail runs out of conservancy and had a blast with a large group of people. If you are into trail running or are an ultrarunner the valley is paradise. Want to ride a bike...go around lake mead with the lv tri club for a quick 100 miles. Get off the strip and you will see that there are neighborhoods that are in Summerlin, Vegas, and Henderson that will all blow your mind away. In case you haven't heard, Lake Las Vegas/Henderson is the host of international events such as the ITU world championships and the 70.3 IM world championships. If it was such a sh*t hole and terrible place for endurance sports then I do not see how this could go down. To the OP'er - Move to Vegas and you will have a blast.

Hey Flagpole, read between the lines.
Did you skip school when you were a child?
The book is written for 5 year olds. I think if you concentrate hard enough, you can decipher the meaning.
Good book btw, I had never heard the story. I liked it.
