I'm waiting for a Barry Manilow song any minute now. Why must Marathon coverage be like this, and hockey/football escapes the cringe factor?

Who is the dude with the long hair pacing/leading the women?
The Hansons guy with the elite women is Ryan Sheehan.
15k 44:38
should be ryan sheehan
Here is the tracking of the leaders:
44:28 for 15k 2:05:06 pace
The guy in the yellow vest is hurting bad
Robert Cheruiyot losing touch.
Lead pack now: Wanjiru, Kebede, Kipruto, Lelisa, Merga, the 2:07 Ethiopian, Wesley Korir and my man Laban Moiben. Plus 3 pacers.
Looks like Cheruiyot is back.
A 29-flat 10k from 5k to 15k. FAST!
Cheruiyot drifting away again. Not looking good.
The elites are gagging to race!!!
Damn pacers! Push it a bit!
lol, Black Eyed Peas song playing into the commercial... Fergie said shit.
5k split was 15:04
15k split was 44:28
Therefore, the 10k in between was 29:24, not 29 flat. Still fast. The 2nd 5k was about 14:30 or so, though. So the 3rd 5k settled back down some.
But now we're hearing about how the pacers are refusing to push, there are surges going on which are unsustained and the pace has fallen off.
my guess is the rabbits are running the pace they were asked to. these guys are just anxious to get moving and into the race

Lucas V. crosses the finish line first!

2:03:59 is something like 4:43.7/mile if I did it right. That really isn't very far off for you to be so angry.
If you did it right, they can too.
If this were MLB and someone said that a pitcher with a 2.18 ERA had an ERA of 2.36, people would not excuse him. Have some frigging PRIDE in this "sport."
