Ran 19:47 last Saturday.. 53 years old, 6'2" and 215 lbs..on very inconsistant training with work and weather. I was happy with it and see myself under 18 minutes by March...

Wow. OP here. Yes, still reading this website. I had totally forgotten about this thread. To clarify, I made the thread in sincerity.
After I made that thread I later ended up breaking 19 a year later. Then another 1-2 years later I did not run very much and now I am trying to get back to the 19-20 min range.

lol this is one of the few times I have posted a gender/age to a post. Usually when I make posts I avoid that, for obvious reasons, especially on a username that I use more often.
Damn, And hear I was thinking that 6 months off and on for PF was a lot. That sucks.

As a female in your 20s who presumably wasn't a total beginner, how did you break 19? Extra mileage? Speed work? Focusing on the "little things" like nutrition and sleep? 19 seems to be a formidable barrier for most adult women.
