There was no testing at Gate River Run, the 15k national championships. It's not required.

Never said "required", said "expected".
Why yes they did take blood and pee. Some rooms were searched and nothing of note was found.I do have it from a source that some of the portland based athletes had these in their rooms, men only. http://tiny.cc/aa0sh

They took Urine samples. Did they take Blood Samples to test HGH ? Did they inspect the hotel rooms of the Eugene and Portland based athletes for drug paraphenalia ?
I guarantee there is no corrolation here, and it's a cheap shot by the brojos at the athletes who withdrew for legitimate reasons. The story about drug testing didn't come out until Friday, the same time the athletes dropping out were announced. It's not like they found out about testing the week before and then started dropping. They had already dropped out before they knew.
All of those athletes know that they are subject to the same testing wherever they go.

To me, the bigger scandal is that there is actually a 7-mile national championship.
if you know the right people, it's easy to find out in advance if there will actually be testing. runners are also notified when they are periodically taken out of the random drug testing pool. bottom line is you have to be a complete idiot to get caught.

Of course they're notified whether or not they need to update USADA on their daily whereabouts. And if you're among the best in the world, you can be sure that you're in the testing pool.
You have to be a complete idiot to think you're "in the know..."
How can we talk about running when there are Zionists afoot?!!!
I believe I am a complete idiot according to your comment. I used to administer the drug testing procedures at races. It was my job to work with race directors to reserve space, escorts, sealed drinks, volunteers, etc. And it was my job to organize the staff (men and women) to fly in, stay at the hotel, work the race, overnight the samples, and leave.
Now, if any of that happens in a day or two, you let me know how you can get it done. If however, you think it might take more than just 24 hours or so, then I believe several people are 'in the know' as none of this happens without a significant level of race personnel involvement.
I'm not commenting on the list or the decisions to drop from Bix but on the race side (from Bix point of view), do you think Bix wants anyone to test positive at their race? Bix is an independent race that HAS to test to remain certified as the USATF Nat'l Champs. But if someone tests positive there, do you think the field might not be as strong next year? Or the year after? Face it athletes do drugs. Only the dumb ones get caught. For Bix, they don't want anyone to test positive.
MLB lets A-Rod play so what's the diff. Dopers will always be able to get away with drugging at BIX and every meet. UCI tips off cyclists. HGH clears in one day and can only be found via blood tests. How many test blood randomly to catch HGH ?

That's right: the Kansas Relays wanted Gatlin to test positive.
If Bix or any other place has stringent drug testing that caught dopers, it would be incredibly popular among the vast majority of runners.
You are full of sh*t, with your inanity about strong fields.
