2006
Since I got internet service in 2002. I ran Las Vegas Marathon 2000 in a pack which included the BroJos for most of the race. They were wearing bright blue and yellow Puma outfits (I think) with "letsrun.com" stenciled on the fronts. THAT was my first exposure to Let's Run. GREAT idea, guys, to keep runners up on the running news that really matters!
since summer of 2007
I started around the time every other thread was about the most famous runner ever from Pickerington, Ohio.
I believe that Letsrun.com started out as collagerunning.com if so I have been on here since 1996 or 1997.
In 2000 I was watching that Running and Racing Marty Liquori show that featured the Las Vegas half that was won by Wejo. I thought, wow, who the heck is that white guy outsprinting those 2 african guys? Did web search of his name and found the site.
Gee, 2002, 2003 something like that. No idea. It was a rec.running -> RW Competitive Running Forum -> Merv -> Letsrun migration that started around 1991. So letsrun would have been around the time merv started to sputter out.
Still follow Dead Runner's Society (DRS) after almost 18 years.
Lurked for 6-7 months starting July, 2007. Posted on and off since.
There used to be more and better humor.
That 5K Fanny Pack thread was purely hilarious.

You've been here that long you piece of shit? I always figured it was the same ass-holes posting the same racist crap over and over again on here. wow, you've stained this place for a long time.
I must have owned you pretty bad if your still harping on those old feelings!
since the beginning
Zeb
possibly since 2006, definitely since 2007.
At least since summer 2001, that's when I saw Wejo running with that super fancy yellow "Letsrun.com" jersey at USA's (maybe it was actually the 2000 Olympic Trials?). My roommate at the time was actually smart enough to look up the website, I think I still thought the Internet was a fad at that point or something. I've checked the site probably at least twice a week ever since.

Didn't he just up and qui Tnfmedia? I don't recall the flailing.
Anyway, Nov 2000 - remember it well. The electiom, huge fights about that; climate change, more huge fights; Frank and malmo; Larry/Brutal; but NCAA xc everyone more or less came together for a day or so.
LR went downhill in a huge way when Flagpole entered the scene.

I recall that Schief quit but the boards languished for a while after. I think Rivals eventually picked them up, but this site doesn't have track & field:
http://tnfmedia.rivals.com/You can wax nostalgic here if you like, but not a lot of activity on this page, either:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=47171666161Can't say I'm a regular poster but have been reading the site since 2000.
Wow, most of you have been here a long time! I started lurking this past spring and maybe started posting in the summer?
I like this site mostly due to the humor/wit and some good info.

Since 2000 or so.
