Public and private schools
They can not be compared.
I'm very aware of the differences. I have vast experience with both kinds of schools. Everything I have suggested can be implemented in public schools with little or no extra money.
Private schools can throw out behavior problems as you stated, public schools can not.
That's complete BS. Public schools have every right to expel students, but administrators won't put forth the effort and the school system won't back them up. One of the big problems with public schools is people like you who make these kinds of excuses when the school fails to do what is needed.
Those kids are disruptive, as you stated, but the public school must continue to put up with it.
No they don't. That's simply not true. But if you don't want to expel the student then send them to reform school. Just the threat of reform school strikes fear in the hearts of students and parents alike. Just having such a place will cure a lot of ills. But most of all, YOU MUST GET DISRUPTIVE KIDS OUT OF THE REGULAR CLASSROOM. That is imperative.
The bottom line is this: Do not compare private and public schools. They are different.
That's true. And truthfully, many private schools do a poor job as well. But the things I have listed are all doable within the public school framework. And in fact, a couple of generations ago, public schools did all the things I described (with the exception of the dyslexia program).
