Because returning to running has been an incredible struggle over the past couple years. I didn't run for 2 years, but stayed fit. The return has been nothing but ups and downs and inconsistency. At 30 I'm not young or old. If I can get into a rhythm and stay healthy, who knows what I'll get up to. The goal is as many miles as possible while staying healthy. If that gets me to 100, great. 65 is about where I've maxed out before running into setbacks.
