Stop making slanderous accusations about these women when you have no proof to back them up.
It's unfair to make stuff up about white American women, especially the pretty ones.

Lagat competed for Kenya. efff him. He shouldn't be wearing a USA singlet, he should be wearing a Kenyan one. Kenya was his home country, they've shown themselves to be plenty capable of housing and training athletes, the fact that he runs for USA is crap. why have seperate nations competing at the olympics if athletes are able to switch countries willy nilly? I understand why Lopez Lomong is representing us. He came here as a small boy from a country that was not treating him so kindly. Lagat is an entirely different situation. eeeeeeeeeeffffffffffff him!
Yeah, why would they take down baseless claims supported by your clueless statements "It would be nice if we were wrong, but most likely we aren't"...and..."Whenever you see smoke one can assume that there is fire". I'm assuming you're a simpleton who would like to be a famous DA but know you'll never get into law school.

Because they don't take down baseless claims with clueless statements if the athlete is from another country.
He's just pointing out the smoke. I'm sure Shannon is a great person and I really hope she's clean, but if she were from Russia or China, you all would be clawing each other to get to the top of the "she doping!" pile.
I think I'm on the top.
Don't you think Shannon would've been able to run 4:05-4:08 last year outdoors if she hadn't gotten hurt after indoors? If so, her progression wouldn't be so precipitous. You're looking at nothing but the numbers.
She's not going to run 4.00 now though.
She was going backwards at 4.04 pace yesterday.
Shannon Rowbury is amazing and I was hoping she would do well, and she did (7th). Until 5 months ago Shannon was not even in contention for making the olympic team, and even though her times were exceptional recently, many other women in the world have been running faster for much longer (remember the three Russian women who were disqualified just prior to the Olympics for drug violations, if they were there likely Shannon would have finished 10th). Lolo Jones won the indoor world championships and was one of the fastest in the world just prior to the Olympics but was virtually ignored at the trials by NBC who instead focused on the other two women who had dominated over the last four years (Hayes and Powell) but nonetheless excoriated her after she hit the hurdle and lost a gold medal in the finals. Major media payed attention to those athletes who were major contenders for medals in popular events. Shannon was all over Flotrack and those who follow track not just the drug scandals were well aware of her.
I was surprised about this, but Shannon Rowbury's 7th place is the highest placing ever by a U.S. woman in the Olympic 1500m final.
Other U.S. runners have been eighth.
