Who said I never ran at a high level? Many high level runners in the Big 10 have put it out there and not run like a puss at conference

Optimism and skepticism are expected of those that have not been seen what is real going on with the Illini. Yes, we had a bad first day in the field events but the athletes competing in events Saturday will pick up the slack and we’re more then competent in our coaching staff and say F__k you to those that disagree…GO ILLINI

A team can enter and score up to 4 athletes per event.
OK - I think it's different for the Big Ten womens championships. I just read on their results that there's a max of 2 scorers per event in their meet.
That's incorrect. Check the results.
scroll down to the bottom and it discusses the scoring method:
"Scored 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Max 2 scorers per team"
It's still not correct.

Yeah, you're right. I should have let it pass--sorry about that. I just get irritated at the idea that tactical middle and long distance races are somehow less manly or something. No more about it from me.
How did that second day go? Oh wait, I saw the results. Great progress by "Coach" Angel.

This was a fabulous set of predictions, it needed only a few tweaks (like the post immediately following on Bolas) with the minor substitution of Bolas for Bethke in the mile and Bethke moving up to the 5000 (especially in a championship, where finishing speed is paramount).

Bethke, Jagr, Miller, Gasper in mile with all 4 in top 6.
Bethke, Eagon, Lacy, and Withrow in 3k with all 4 in top 6.
Win both the dmr and mile relays.
Withrow, Eagon, Lacy, Craven in 5k with all 4 scoring.
400 guy who is runnerup in 400 behind Meshito who will probably win 600.
Multi eventer ranked 2nd.
Long jumper ranked 3rd.
Bottom line is if the rest of the conference falls asleep in the distance area except Lex Williams and Jeff See (as has happened the last 2 years), the Badgers will win easily.
I had no idea that Illinois and Purdue were that much improved?
Depending what they do with Jagr, Pierre, Miller, etc. they could cover the 800 too.
No 60, shot, weight, or 200.
Pole vault is weak.
So 8 in a row for the Badgers, and it looks like they will not be beaten for some time. They absolutely dominate from 600-5K, + both of the relays and they really don't lose anyone. They only lose Hatchell in the 800 (1 point) and Pierre who ran the DMR. They return the champ in the 600, they had two freshmen in the top 5 in the 800, the milers were three sophmores and one freshmen, they return everyone in the 3k/5k (with Bethke/Lacy being sophmores and Peacock being a freshmen).
Add in more great recruits and it looks like the streak will continue for years. On Wisconsin!!
