Could have given up when he got cut off at the top of the straight, but used it instead to find another gear. Amazeballs!

The site is about to crash - unreal - thanks to the greatest pace marker of all time Jakob!!
The gear change from Hocker is unreal at the pace.
Shout out to Yared as well for Bronze and a sub 3:30 for Hobbs! We have 3 American distance running legends.
All those years being a Hocker fanboy has finally paid off. I can remember when everyone called him "just a 3:35 guy who would never win an NCAA title, never make a team, never win a medal."
Very inspiring.
Crashed the site, lol!
Great job Cole
HELL YEA COLE!!!! Had me screaming my lungs out!!
Absolutely badass close by Hocker. Nuguse had an incredible finish, too. THREE Americans sub 330.
Jakob performed his pacing duties admirably. Possibly the best rabbit of all time.
Anyone remember when matt centro trashed cole hocker on instagram saying that he was an olympic champ and that hocker/teare were just college kids. Look at hocker now, he is better than centrowitz all time.
The fact that he got boxed in with around 100 to go and passed through back on the inside of Jakob is CRAZY!! NEVER GIVE UP!!

Was Jakob going for WR? He took it out blistering fast
!!!!
Absolute beautiful performance from team USA. Hard to watch Jakob place 4th but I hope he can mentally prepare himself for 5k.
I cried, after I stopped screaming at the TV !!!!
I know I'm moving on fast here, but I legit think Cole is in 3:26.xx shape (same with Goose).
Absolutely unreal that two Americans just medaled in the 1500 running 3:27. I'm truly speechless right now.

I still can't believe what I saw. Hocker winning gold, Jakob off the podium, Jared with a bronze and almost a silver. Absolute magic. I was one of the people laughing at Hocker's confidence and those who thought he was a dark horse for gold and I will gladly eat my humble pie.
I think Jakob is changing the way these races are run. He had the guts to go for it and made it a genuine test of who had the best fitness. I can't wait to see how these rivalries continue to play out over the next 4 years.

Thats wild! It's been over 100 years since we had 2 runners on the podium! So cool!
Remember when Ben Thomas was chased out of Oregon?
CONGRATS TO HIM!
JAKOB INTERVIEW : He said he felt so good that he misjudged his own opening
Why I don’t really care about the Mens 1500m Results despite the top 3 doing really well
