Didn’t Spencer get bounced too?

Olympics site isn't showing final results that I can find.
Mills will surely be fried for the 5000m.
both heats were really good racing and respectable times. good for us fans. glad the 3 Americans already qualified.

Who made the semi? I have not been able to watch it.
Cathal Doyle, Azeddine Habz, and Ossama Meslek made it in the first heat. Frederico Riva, CPT, and George Mills made it in the second heat. I’m quite frankly stunned none of the Aussies made it through

He was literally running through them; they didn't have much of a choice. The most prominent passes where they seemed to give too much room were people already dying, c.f. Mphahlele and Hoare.
The Pole left unnecessary space, and Hoare drifted which was tough. Rest yes I agree/they were on the straight so less egregious.
There was a lot of criticism of the repechage rounds when they announced it, but that was very entertaining and high-stakes. Very preferable to the small-q system where I would just be screaming at heat 3 to go out faster.
It's time to mcsweyn to focus on the 5000
Surely Hoare was the only one of the three you would have expected to progress? McSweyn is cooked at 1500m (losing both races with the exact same tactic, come on) and Spencer just isn't good enough.
It's easy to say when he's not there, but Myers would have found a way through given two chances.
Was Mills fair going on first lane and having to box guys.

You think he’s a vindictive little jerk, eh? Seems more likely he was cheering for his countrymen, confident that next year’s Worlds and the next 3 Olympic cycles will be his time to shine.

It was borderline. Won’t get DQed at this level. If it was NCAA the appeal for the Swede would be in first thing.
Is it possible to watch yesterdays 1500 Mens Heats replayed on Peacock? I have Peacock but can't find it. TIA.
Delighted for Doyle. Hasn't run much outside of Ireland since returning back to Dublin from the NCAA scene last season, but ran like a beast in the first repechage heat.
Heat 1:
3:34.92 IRL Doyle
3:35.10 FRA Habz
3:35.32 ITA Meslek
Heat 2:
3:32.84 ITA Riva (PB)
3:33.53 CAN Philibert-Thiboutot
3:33:56 GBR Mills
Yep, Ollie is the shock. I didn't expect much from the other two, would have been thrilled if they made it. I think Myers may have been hungrier than some others, particularly Stuie, who has a standard nuance-less approach regardless of the situation.

Mills clear DQ?

Maybe. Look at the guys he’s been losing to on the circuit and many of them failed to get to the Semis.
Everyone’s pretty excited for the Loser 1500m race. it’s worse than watching D2 1500 National 1500m
Probably another reason America’s best when the World Series or Super Bowl is on were don’t have a tournament for the losers
