All of social discourse boils down to truth on essential issues. Exempli gratia, whether or not there was a coordinated effort on the part of more than a few local / municipal heads to falsify votes by either party in 2020 election, or to try to obfuscate or whip up extra votes from the aether; or whether or not the former president committed the most heinous acts alleged.
In the case of Justice Cavanaugh, it seems that her habits, cross-referencing of things she said, the clashing of things recollected by her on different occasions, and the testimonies of related witnesses from the college party and character witnesses seem to all point out that Cavanaugh didn't do what was alleged, even though Cavanaugh seems to have had a gross and misogynistic attitude at times.
Now for Trump -
Did trump actually R_ people? I just want to hear from some people who are experts on the rich and high falutin', how likely is it that Trump committed r_ and/or otherwise scummy acts and or aided and abetted those who did commit similar acts?
How common is it?
Those who have been on depressant, tranquilizer, or otherwise inhibition-lowering drugs - how realistic is it to say that these types of drugs can turn a person into an animal?
Personal experience - I have had dreams where I have touched a person inappropriately. In ways I'd never even begin to in real life. During sleep, the prefrontal cortex has less activity; there is less executive function. Is it possible that the rich and luxurious develop drug and alcohol issues which lead to them doing things they'd never do with proper judgement?
As runners, we all acknowledge our favorite athletes use drugs, and alas, that even the big wigs of sporting, and all affiliated parties - marketing, attorneys - are complicit in hiding the use of performance enhancing drugs, or at least otherwise minimizing and ignoring the reality at hand.
Is it possible to say that we simply live in a world where lies and treachery predominate?
