Regarding point (2), Valby has a huge aerobic engine, is tough, but currently appears to me to have a ‘gimpy stride’. That latter point leads to huge question marks and unknowns making it impossible to say things about her future potential with any certainty. For example, if (we don’t know either way) she is taking anti-inflammatories in order to push through, then this could be a situation not unlike what Colleen Squigley wrote about in her blog regarding her last year in the NCAA.
