Without the work of journalists none of you would have heard of her or know what she does. Her career depends on them.
Wrong. You are a dinosaur.
You have no idea how the media works and how there is no public knowledge of anyone or anything without what they do. You may not like them but if you don't wish to be completely in the dark they are a necessary evil. That is so, even for this budding Marie Antoinette of the track. She will miss them soon enough when she is replaced - as she will be, as all are - by the next "big thing".
Hardly. I comment on a wide variety of threads, many of which have nothing to do with running - or her. Her fans are without doubt obsessed with her. They are easy targets.
Why do you target them? If anyone still had any doubt that you have no life and you just thrive on being an ass...
No, as an example of your idiocy, you let that Armstronglivs troll invariably wallpaper any interesting Valby thread with his mental diarrhea that obviously no one but that narcissistic whack job wants read.
LetsHate trolls don’t like it when they see someone faster, smarter, and soon to be wealthier than themselves. They are a sad and miserable lot who take their online jealousy to new lows.
Those not on the Valbymania train are likely communists, deviants, or neurodivergent persons who are intimidated by successful women.
I luv PV. But her falling for the IRS scam story appears to have been whitewashed off the interwebz. That was certainly a watershed moment in my understanding of who she is.

Do you have any idea of how society works in 2024?
She has hundreds of thousands of followers on instagram and TikTok, most of them young athletes.
Very few of that group cares what a journalist writes about an athlete; they look up the athlete themselves to see what they’re like/what they’ve posted.
Journalists may have put Parker on the map but they are nowhere near as important as her own TikTok videos or Instagram posts.
I do not care about an athlete's personality except to the extent that it may reflect on other questions I have about that's athlete's performances. If I think an athlete is vain, petty, egotistical and attention seeking, I am going to be less trustful of that athlete because such a person is more likely to take shortcuts. Think a young Lance Armstrong.
It's pathetic how grown men feel the need to get on the internet trash a successful 22 year old kid. She's the best runner, time wise anyway, in NCAA history and just made an Olympic team. She is also known for pushing the pace from the gun, something that most of you same miserable dbags tear other runners down for not doing. She has a sense of humor and is sarcastic with the reporters. Oh, wow, she's a terrible person. So many losers post on this site, it's ridiculous. No wonder the sport isn't more popular.
She’s the best runner time-wise in NCAA history? She’s run sub 13 5000?
Journalists do ask stupid questions. Who was the moronic journalist that asked Abby Steiner how it felt to come up short when she failed to qualify for the 200? What a fvcking idiot.
Nike controls USATF, Track Town, Cit Mag, RS, FT and forces advertising and marketing people who pose as writers, photographers, announcers, directors, producsers, etc. They ask beauty padgaent questions to athletes. So no wonder Parker can't stand them. They aren't real journalists. They'ee used car saleshumans ;-)
