I'll be honest, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and thought the production and commentary were generally good. Yeah, there's definitely stuff that could've been better, but for an event that's really not catered just to track fans (way more viewers than any normal DL or whatever meet), I think they did a great job.
I thought the mid-race commentary was generally good and insightful, bringing up relevant points on most contenders, and I really don't care if Leigh Diffey trips over his words a couple times. They had great commentators for the different events, though post-race interviews were just meh (I think that may be a function of athletes not having much to say while out of breath).
My complaints were more logistical, like the autoplay of gymnastics for the 400H (which presumably is a Peacock feature you can turn off), and the ad length and frequency, which I understand is necessary if you want to fund track. You can't have a sport with no opportunity for advertisers and have well-paid athletes, that just doesn't work. That and the evergreen complaint that Eugene is a terrible place to hold a meet like that in the summer (or any time of year!)
