I noticed she took off her shoes immediately after the 10k. Think this was just for comfort or was it notice that she’s an hot free agent and not advertising for free.

I thought everyone took their spikes off shortly after a race. Even when someone starts a thread recommending spikes, most of the comments are "they're number 1 job is speed not comfort."
She's not even close to being unique in removing spikes post race.
Usually it's a few mins later. She seemed desperate to get those spikes off.
For distance runners, I see sprinters rip them off much more frequently.

Actually, it seems that it taking them off has produced more attention to what she is wearing, who she will sign with, etc etc.
Many athletes have been very savvy about taking off their spikes and then draping them over their shoulders in highly visible way for interviews. (See Nick Symmonds in his day.)
She's wearing her Florida uni, all of which (all sports) have the Nike swoosh.
In the Citius interview that dropped today, Valby said she was stopping by Switzerland on her way to Paris. Is there, by chance, a shoe company in Switzerland?
