Just ridiculous!
Here we go again. Letsrun.com slow distance whyt guys always questioning anything black people do athletical, political, in business or politics. Some whyt guys just can't imagine that all people and specifically black females can excel to the highest heights. I recall you POSs who disparaged the youngest American to receive a a doctorate degree...a 17 black female from Chicago.
Funny...I didn’t hear a word questioning the performance of the white male from Nebraska who won 110H at the NCAA or the other guy who won the 100m from Houston or Parker from Florida.
Read any of the 17 Parker Valby threads and you’ll find plenty of accusations
pryce is not only much leaner than the other competitors, but was the only one in those races with the stride pattern/dynamics of a man
looking at photos over the past few years it's clear why i was getting the intersex vibes: Nickisha has lost a significant amount of weight and has never been this lean in her life
weight loss is prob the greatest performance enhancer available to a runner
To be fair, you should list Kaylyn Brown’s age for each year. She was only 12 when she ran 57.14. She was 14 when she ran 53.14. I don’t know why she doesn’t have any marks for 2021 or 2023; was her progression stalled by injuries?
I don’t think it’s all that surprising that someone who could run 53 low at age 14 could improve by 4 seconds by age 19. For comparison, Sanya Richards-Ross ran 54.34 at age 15 and ran 49.89 at age 19.
Just for the record. Massive improvement from age 22, not 14 or 16 or 18, or 19.
BORN: 07 MAR 2001
Also just for the record: Flojo, massive improvement at 28.
I think people are underestimating the impact of the training group and how being surrounded by that quality can enhance your improvement
Arkansas is by far the best 400m program in the country for women. So much so that the runner who finished 5th (Whittaker) is transferring to Arkansas next year!
Also, there's a pro group who train at Arkansas. Their Head Coach (Chris Johnson)'s brother (Boogie Johnson) leads Hurdle Mechanic, who have some of the best quarter-miler talent in the world, in one training group. Unless you guys think Britton Wilson was also doping last year when she ran that 49.13 outdoors and American record indoors, it's probably just the case Arkansas has the best 400m training for women in the world...

Britton hasn’t exactly backed that time up running two 51 second performances and topping out at 50.74 so far this year. She might still improve a lot but not resembling her college self much so far.
Thats why I say the real proof will come when these women turn pro and are subjected to real drug testing for the first time. Will the performances remain and improve or will there be a suspicious drop back to mediocrity with the usual “she’s struggling with injuries” excuses followed by early retirement. Time will tell.

I mean, Britton has been struggling with injuries though

It is clear you do not understand how WADA or the associated national testing organisations work. While she may not be tested by the NCAA, she is tested nonetheless, just as much as anybody else. Jamaica could never afford to have a drug programme, or maybe you don't even know how expensive it is. You also do not know how changing what you're able to do at different points in a 400 can dramatically improve your times. In fact, there are so many things that are not taken into consideration, it makes no sense to go into it. This is simply a fairly ignorant way of looking at progression.

You just revived a dead thread just to defend her because she ran quick today? Why?
