Mike Smith was pretty clear at beginning of the year that A Sahlman would red shirt his whole freshman year. Academics are irrelevant, plus it's tough even at animal house to have academic difficulties until after your 2nd freshman semester.
I believe we will see him next fall for NAU cross. After seeing the range Nico has developed from 800 to 10k, would not be surprised to see Aaron try to duplicate. Maybe 800 to xc to start.
