Pay attention to lack of vertical jumping ability, almost all female basketball players. Pay attention to lack of quickness, almost all female basketball players. 1) I have never been classified as a distance runner. 2) I would not make my analysis based on T&F.
She needs to hire someone like me to be her agent. I could really make a lot of money for her. She could do onlyfans, and also do pay per view events like Mayweather vs. McGregor where she plays random famous men in 1 on 1.
Instead, in reality, she will make tons of money without you and you will get no cut and continue the same lame posting topics ad nauseum on an anonymous running messageboard.
Why are you such a hurtful person? You are a very mean man. Mean and hurtful. Shame on you mean man.
We participate in a sport where it is harder than any other for women to compete with men, because there is no skill element for them to close the gap with, just pure athletic ability to run fast. And yet the best women in the world are about as good as an average D1 man. Is Cooper better than the average D1 basketball player? Quite likely. So it's quite likely he could beat Caitlin Clark. But the idea that he would completely dominate her, or that she wouldn't beat 99% of male basketball players is absurd.

I remember it was earth shattering news when 6'7" Brittany Griner dunked the ball in a game. And it was barely a dunk.

The fact Brittany Griner is the first name that comes to mind for a woman dunking a basketball makes me think you are 15 years old.
He is athletic, but there are linebackers almost 50 lbs more running almost as fast and jumping further. He’s a second round pick, doubt he’s top 20 most athletic in the draft this year. Probably more athletic people that weren’t even drafted because they weren’t as skilled so let’s not turn a second round pic into something he’s not.
Are there many linebackers that can long jump 23' 7"? He has a 4.4 40, 38" vertical, 16 rep 225lb bench, 11.1 100. Fantastic basketball skills. Maybe not the most athletic but near the top for sure.
Dallas Turner, ran a 4.46, Broad jump 10'7" with 40.5" vertical at 247lbs. He could def do more reps on bench.
More than 25 guys ran 4.4 or faster and most of them could run a 11.1. Over 25 had verticals of 39.5 or higher. More than 25 had broad jumps of 10'8" or longer and that was just at the combine not counting individual workouts.
also, 16 is not a great number on the bench... last time I worked out with my son he did 10 @225 as a warm-up before doing 275/295. He didn't play beyond high school and wasn't much bigger than Cooper.
Not to discount Cooper, he's been drafted into the NFL, he's way more athletic than me, and he was above average for an NFL draftee but he was not near the top, unless you consider ~40th out of 250 or so near the top.

I agree with a lot of this. These guys are all freaks. Your son seems pretty strong as well. You are right that Cooper's numbers aren't the best, and he is also a bit smaller than I thought. I am factoring his combine/pro day numbers, his track accolades, his basketball skills, and also his quarterback abilities in highschool when I consider him "near the top athletically." He could potentially play cover corner, safety, a Troy Polamalu style linebacker, and even a slot receiver. And also crush Caitlin Clark.
Cooper needs to stay in his lane. Is that bragging rights to say you could beat a woman? That’s trans crap like the swimmer in the Ivy League. Worry about yourself Cooper. You have a job to do, and it’s not thumping your chest about beating a woman. Maybe focus on out Bud Lighting Dylan Mulvaney.

According to Athletic Net he has PRs of 10.71 and 24-02, both tops in the state. That's pretty impressive. He also scored more points in his HS basketball career than Harrison Barnes. I doubt if Caitlin could do anything to stop him from getting to the basket in a one-on-one matchup.
A good 12 yr old would run circles around a top tier WNBA player.

It wouldn’t be close.
That said, she’s better at her sport than he is at his.
No disrespect to Clark, but of course DeJean would win. All he has to do is work the ball down low, and he should score every single time. If he knows the game fairly well, there’s no way she could stop him.
All this is a good way for Caitlin and Cooper to keep themselves under discussion in social media. I can tell Caitlin Clark is social media savvy. Perhaps not as savvy as Shaccarri but still very savvy. She is going to be very wealthy when its all said and done.
Why do so many men feel threatened by a female basketball player? Why not let her just go out and do her thing like we do for every other male athlete with superstar prospects? It's ok to critique her performance and have personal opinions at that point.
I think most of her current critics suffer from some sort of inferiority complex.
It would be 15 to 0. And he would have 15 dunks and 15 blocks.

Not sure why this was downvoted so much. The US women's national soccer team already tried something like this and lost to a bunch of 14 year old boys. There are several 12 year olds who can dunk now days, take a kid like Erick Dampier Jr (6'8 12 year old, son of nba player) and they would dominate.

You’re about the 1,000th poster to refer to that game. 15-year old boys are bigger and faster than adult women so the game result should not have been surprising. It was just a scrimmage and the women’s team weren’t “trying” anything:

Because only losers feel the need to constantly remind everyone that men are better than women at sports.
Men should not be talking about how other men can dominate against women. Thats shameful and embarrassing.

Women's teams scrimmage against youth men's teams all the time. It's common because for the best teams, it's hard to find a women's team good enough to be worth scrimmaging against. And the women don't lose every time, they actually usually win, which is why it made headlines that the USWNT lost that game.
That's also a sport which starts selecting elite athletes at an extremely young age. There are 16-17yos playing for the best teams in the world. The PL2 teams play the EFL teams for the EFL Trophy, and they get plenty of wins. That would be like if the best high school basketball teams in the US played against European pro teams and actually won games, or if Lebron started playing for the Cavs at 16 instead of 18. Completely different.
