Thought we might have a Tuohy sighting here. Not yet.
This is like my old hs meets running late and we ran in the dark. We hear about hills and heat, but how will Hassan run in the dark? The world will soon find out!

wow, I'm at the event. Krissy Gears kick is much more impressive when you see it live.
Nice. I plan to attend NCAA East Prelims, so hopefully I'll see a few sweet finishes as well. Gear's 4:03 puts the US Oly Trials steepler field on notice, for sure.

4:09.00 was Krissy's former 1500 pr.
Emma's 1500 pr is 4:03.82 while Frerichs'/AR holder is 4:07.39. Jennings pr is 4:08 while Wayment is back in the 4:11s.
Outside of Jenny Simpson's 3:59 when she was still steepling, Gear looks to have the best speed endurance of any US woman steepler -- and certainly the best of anyone US woman currently competing.
D'Amato apparently isn't running the 10,000. She ran 16 miles this morning in Richmond.
Yes, no longer on the start list.
Maybe racing this mysterious 10k race at Pre where Tsegay is going for the WR, is currently the only entrant, but with talk the Kenyan 10k women's Oly Trials will be at Pre?
Why doesn't she try it on the roads with men blocking the wind around her?
A friend of mine has a theory that based on her stride, she's a super super responder to super shoes.

Am I the only person alive watching this meet? Hard to watch Jager like this😓
In 2023, he opened at 8:34 (tonight was 8:33.19) but that was on April 14th and he ran 8:17 at USAs and was 6th at Worlds. But he'd run 13:13 indoors that year. This yeark, he'd r run 3:40 and 3:46 in his two 1500s coming in.
