I find it hillarious that anyone would think that Kenyans are using the above named substance and Europeans are not. Was this substance invented in Kenya and is only available in Kenya ?
What is Brett Clothier doing to ensure the obvious British dopers who pop out of nowhere to beat Ingebrigtsen are not doping ?
The drugs are probably all made in USA and Europe, and shipped or flown to Kenya. There'd be no sport/track and field at a high level in western nations if all the dopers were caught.
Finally someone has spoken the truth. If you somehow manage to eliminate doping in track and field, the sport would be dead in Europe and North America. Hardly any European or American would win anything in distance running. Truer words have never been spoken.
This is because Europe and North America is always on the cutting edge of doping. Others usually catch up much later.
No - because they don’t have qualifying rounds. Not 100% at the Olympics are on something. But if you’ve made it to a final through multiple rounds (some athletes in multiple events) in one of the most infamously ped riddled sports on the planet - writing is on the wall. I guess the 10000m no longer has rounds so I guess there could be a couple athletes there as well.
The Marathon has their "rounds" all in one. The amount of energy needed for a Marathon is more than any track event that has rounds.
Yes but Bcvnnk got a point: to make it to the final with some 8 - 15 participants (depending on the event), starting with 40 - 50, you are at the top of a select group, so you had to beat a lot of dopers (even if only half of the participants dope).
In the marathon, it's enough to qualify (if your country doesn't have too many good marathoners), which used to be rather easy for worlds.
