Hanging has been done in the United States relatively recently.
Washington state hanged two inmates in 1993 and 1994.
Delaware carried out the last judicial hanging in the U.S. in 1996.
Neither Wesley Allan Dodd, Charles Campbell, or Billy Bailey seemed to be deterred by comitting murder in a known hanging state.
For this purpose, he might actually be better off in death row (where he is now) than the general population prison because people sit in death row for 30 years before execution or until their 90s or something like that.
And on the day before execution, he will be able to request any kind of meal that he wants, which is nice to him.
But in general population, he probably would have gotten killed by inmates more quickly because they are so much older, bigger, and stronger than him (prison justice). In fact, in 2016, he was attacked by another inmate in jail and then the attacker received so much money and was released on bond
No scholarship limits anymore! (NCAA Track and Field inequality is going to get way worse, right?)
