I normally form an opinion pretty quickly but not this time. The guy didn't notice them. He didn't notice that all of their cars were there. Neighbors didn't notice them or their cars. Friends or relatives didn't call police after a day.
Wouldn’t go to back yard to do some coke. That screams smoke break. Granted there is no reason why they aren’t mixing a couple drugs together. But there is no way I am betting that this tox screen comes back clean….
What's puzzling is the latest article indicates at least one of their coats were still inside the house. Why would you go out back and smoke without putting on your coat when it's that cold?
It was only like 40. No need for a coat when you are only going to be out for 5mins.
It is weird but it is even harder to come out with a foul play case. Guy poison all 3 and drag them outside? Seems really unlikely.
When I lived in a party-ish mountain town in the Rockies this would happen from time to time. You’d hear about someone going missing after a night out drinking and then sure enough they’d be found somewhere frozen in the snow a few weeks later. I’ll admit 3 guys all right outside the house is a bit odd.

The Game was played on 1/7/24.
It was not freezing cold in Kansas City on 1/7/24.

That is why is probably fentanyl. Imagine all 4 are doing a hit. 3 go outside to smoke, 1 is in the couch. They all start ODing and pass out for say 24 hours. Guys outside die of exposure. Guy instead lives but isn’t answering the phone or noticing the world…
the basic story of a group of people ODing happens enough you can google up hundreds of stories. The only unique part is 3 being outside.i have no clue what the latency is. But you can also come up with variations where the guy who lived was just black out drunk and the did some stuff outside after the 5th guy left.
I'm fascinated by this. Murder doesn't make sense as you'd think you'd at least try to move the bodies.
I'm assuming some combo of drugs and alcohol. Could the homeowner be so fu**ed up on drugs that he was out of it all of the next day?
One thing that's weird to me is the homeowner loves his dogs and says they are the love of his life. But his dogs were at his dad's house. Why? Like do you plan on partying so hard that you anticipate ahead of time you won't be able to walk them/feed them?
Willis is an accomplished scientist, whose research into COVID and HIV has been praised in the medical world. In interviews, he described his two pit-bull mixes - Sadie and Daisy, as the 'light of his life'.... He worked from home and his two dogs were at his father's house, so did not require walking.
