LRC note:
We talked about Keith vs Valby on this week'd podcast. Go for the 54:31 mark.
Not "people" a person.
Several months ago if you were having a conversation about the best 20-21 year old non-African female runners (1500-10K) most Americans would not have Megan Keith on their radar. Maybe her and Valby are the fire that will motivate Tuohy to show who's the boss. She has shown what she can do if she is healthy and focuses on specific goals.
She has also learned that she shouldn't over train and over race. But, she has no say in the timing of races, trials, and major meets. I think the Bowerman folks figured out the focus part out long ago. For 2024, she is in no man's land. She's not competing against college runners for accolades, and she can't compete with the 14:40 girls yet. Hopefully, over the next couple of years, similar to Elly Henes, she takes it to the next level, and then the next level after that.
Valby v. Keith v. Touhy in two years? I'm going with Tuohy putting on her big girl panties and doing great things. If those three race each other, and I'm sure it is a matter of time, Let's Run will have to upgrade their server to handle the traffic.

Megan was FLYING at the euro xc champs. She would have finished 50th in the U23 Mens equivalent race. Astonishing.
Would be a fantastic battle with Valby.
Keith a beast in the muck.. finished the course solo faster than Henry McLuckie in the same distance men's race just later. McLuckie won this year's Armagh 5km in 13:37 and has a sub-4.
For Keith vs. Valby, both amazing.. on a US golf course I don't know but in muck it's Keith every day for me.
