Have you attended national meets? They managed to bus thousands of people to the courses. Start 2.5 hours ahead and have busses run constantly. How about more busses spaced 3 minutes apart? 50 people every 3 minutes is 1000 per hour and 2500 over 2.5 hours. The other venues did it.

Obviously tough for two buses to pass each other, and impossible in the last quarter mile section. So having buses make multiple trips would be a real challenge, plus you have to get officials there and most importantly hundreds of athletes need to be on time but not waiting around for hours.
looking forward to the reports of people parking on roads nearby and walking up, possibly trespassing through woods to bypass whatever entry gate there is. Do they have a fence around the entire property?
I'd also appreciate hearing from the people who kayak and gain access from the nearby waterway.
Yep. That's what I'd do. I'll be disappointed if people aren't doing that.
Unless the local municipality is ticketing vehicles parked illegally.
Wouldn't it be easier to sneak in via the river. Looks like there's a spot you can park and put in about 2 miles downstream of the course. It's dammed up there so paddling upstream is not really an issue.
At first I thought this was good news. Like it would be at a track stadium. But how does XC meet get sold out? I hate to think they limited it in any way, because lord knows XC needs to keep a low profile! Big10s were on a friday at 12 noon last year. Anything to keep fans and young athletes away right?
So we should expect US Open/Masters like crowds then yes? 10km worth of people 20 deep!

Do people really get naked in Naked Creek? I see this on the map
The entrance road is so narrow that running alongside traffic would be pretty sketchy. Plus there'll probably be people directing traffic who will try to stop you. Maybe if you can find a trail off of another road.

It's November. Best to strip down before sneaking across Naked Creek, as you don't want to be shivering in wet clothes the whole time you watch the meet.

If under 30, where some school's gear, im sure you could pass as warming up
This is absolutely ridiculous. This should have been entirely disqualifying for them to host the meet. Never seen this before for cross-country in my LIFE.
HUGE THANKS for posting this. I just bought my air ticket last night. There is no way on earth that I'll fly across the country for a 'chance" at a ticket to see the meet. I've NEVEr seen this done before and I've been to multiple NATS for all 3 divisions. A BAD idea.
