The BTC crew didn't like Eugene, so the defectors will shift their training to the adjacent town of Springfield. I believe the track at the Springfield Heights Institute of Technology would be an appropriate workout venue for this new group!
...wanted no part of that 35 x K workout

But also Bowerman could not field a full XC team at this point either.
Justin Knight will leave BTC before 2025.
BTC won't exist in 2025.
The dam cracked awhile ago…it’s a full on flood at this point!!
Mike Smith has said multiple times he does not have a group. Just a few individuals. The bottom line is Jerry can not coach both 100%. If he continues to be a head coach of U of Oregon and BTC. The Pro athletes at BTC will most likely not have a full time coach if this continues.
Jerry is a great coach, but It’s just impossible to coach a Pro team and a top NCAA team at the same time. The athletes suffer and the coaches are laughing to the bank.
BTC goes through a halving process about every 4 years, this is normal
the halving is here wrote:

When was the last halving? Who left? I don't recall all of their best athletes leaving. I do recall them retiring.

Rojo/Gault have you reached out to Jerry/Shalane/BTC for comment/a statement about this? Someone should be asking him/them to explain, even if we think we know why all these athletes are leaving. Or do they hope they can just let this all pass by without any statement??
anyone else feel like they saw this somewhere else a week before? I think someone told me she was leaving. Weird dejavous

My theory is that all the BTC defectors are joining an underground team behind the scenes, Shelby Houlihan’s Incredibly Talented Track Club (S.H.I.T. Track Club). All the Instagram announcements are coming soon:
”I’m very excited to start my next chapter in running as a S.H.I.T. athlete”
When I was first reading this I was thinking, "This isn't really that funny..." but then I finished and thought. "You know what? This is funny sheet."
Putting on the Ritz

considering the Coffee Club Podcast (all OAC members) pretty much announced Elise leaving Bowerman last month perhaps she returns to Boulder and runs for OAC.
Probably not. An athlete has to be signed to ON Athletics to join OAC, the same an athlete has to be signed to Nike to join BTC.
