It doesn't matter what I think. I don't name drop or play those silly games. I simply point out obvious patterns, data and facts.
Houston was a senior in HS in '75 if my memory serves correctly; with a PB at that time of 10.28
Who TF knows or cares.... I do know that in the 70s PED usage was rampant and testing was far behind.
If 14 year old girls in the DDR were juiced to the gills, why are you exempting mature American teenage young men with sprinting prowess?
I think Assinga is dirty. McTear was most likely clean, almost certainly. McTear's 9.0 100y converts to much faster than 10.28 100m. The point is there are people with that kind of talent. If you really feel anyone who runs 10.1 at 18 years old must be dirty you should stop following track. Regarding "name dropping," if I don't give someone like McTear as an example, please tell us about someone we've never heard of who has run so fast. 14 year old girls in the DDR were under complete control of their "government," while McTear was living in abject poverty in a shack. Word was McTear's 59 year old Uncle was almost as fast. McTear later went from living on the streets smoking crack and drinking whiskey, to cleaning himself up for a few months to run 10.25 for a European Championship gold (he had immigrated to Sweden.) Do you think living on the streets eating poorly while taking drugs and alcohol gave him a competitive advantage? It is called "Natural Talent."
I oft times ask myself why I waste time on this stupid forum.

I don’t know how somebody like this can show their face at practice. All your teammates know you’re under investigation and you just shrug it off? I wouldn’t want this guy on my team or at my practice tbh.
That is extremely unfair. Black people use the word privilege to their advantage yet don’t speak about it when one of them gets a blatant and unfair advantage when being busted. Had he been a Russian or some no name Eastern European satellite he would have been banned from university track in the US and Europe and forced to go to some foreign rural college for a chance to train with a track team.

Again, maybe some journalists, like the alleged journalists that run this site could maybe ask some questions because this seems pretty bad for A&M and the NCAA.
Jonathan Gault has emailed his HS coach twice and also reached out to Assinga's lawyer Paul Greene, who was previously the lawyer for Shelby Houlihan, Jarrion Lawson, and Peter Bol. Greene said there is nothing he can say right now.
Man that Greene guy gets around, with lots of success. He also got Jeruto off (for now) with an expert who claimed Covid may have caused her elevated hematocrit (although the hospital said she had no Covid), not just Bol and Lawson. Of course he had no chance in the too obvious Houlihan case.

Still that is a great sign for Assinga!
Seems like he's turning into the Buzbee or Cochran lawyer of the running world. Just involving himself in every possible big name case.
Any update on this? He is STILL list on their roster.

What does AIU say? Lets go, find some answers.
Why would the AIU respond to LetsRun? They'll say "we do not comment on individual cases"
LRC "journalists" get anywhere? Or just sitting on their hands as ever?
I think it's fair to say he's done at this point to be honest.
We sadly may not see him again anytime soon
“sadly”?
also letsrun has definitely done enough to try and figure out what’s going on. i think there are some fair grievances against them but this isn’t one of them.
Lol this thread got bumped at the right time… stay tuned ;) anyways all he needs is the sec championship to get a regional qualifying time and Texas A&M will be clear favorites to win a national title. He has been training and looking good in training
