If Ryan Hall stays healthy and have some good training sessions up until the World X-Country he should run both the short and long course. He have shown that unless he is injuried that he is capable of being/& will be top 4 runner on the U.S. team in both events and thus a vital scorer.
Prediction if Ryan stays healthy and commits to a mid season 10000m I could see him going at least sub 27:45 if he runs up to his capabilities and not under perform. Its exciting that U.S. young athletes are stepping up to the world class levels but we need one to take the next step like Mebrahtom Keflezighi and Deena Kastor. The later two superstar blossomed into international medalist late in their career; however, at least two of the young guns (Tiffany, Alan, Josh, Ian, Dathan, Treniere, Ryan, Chris, Jon, Galen, ETC) will become solid medal contenders before 2008.
