No. The first heat guys were stupid for all thinking they could auto Q and should've run as if they were already on the bubble. Allen was a full second off. His fault.

I mean fair, nobody in that heat besides McMaster has a chance to medal. CJ takes it like a class act, it sounds like he just felt flat as opposed to any overconfidence.

Agree - I was more referencing his post race with Lewis J after the heats where he proclaimed he was the best hurdler out there and basically that if anyone else wanted to win the title they had to go through him.
Americans have never got the concept of proclaiming their self-confidence publicly quite right.
