That's what is awesome about Jakob, he answered the question directly by providing a time. Most runners when asked the same question will give a cliche answer like "I just want to go out there and stay up front, run hard and compete" or something like that.
But what time did he say? The thread total has 3:26 but the OP then writes 3:27.
3:27 gloat threads everywhere, but if Jakob said 3:26, then he is not very happy. Better luck next time.
Don't call me a hater! He's still pretty good. Among the top several all time.
Jakob said 3:27 and you are 100% a hater. This is what you wrote after Oslo:
”Just look at hundreds of people cope too soon. Cope that quick and you only show you know! 4 tenths in 3 years, that's the facts Jack. Not a breakthrough. Might stay in that neighborhood a while longer, but a plateau is basically same as a peak.”
I guess now you can say he’s only improved 1.6 seconds since 2020. Sad!

These splits are ridiculous. I'm so excited, I've never seen someone try to run a time like this. I feel like 3:26 is a stretch, but I thought 7:57 was a stretch and he clowned on that.
You want ridiculous splits? At Rieti in 2001, El G ran 3.29.08 for the win. Nothing incredible about that right? Except he went through 800m in under 1.49 and 1200 in sub 2.44 (!!!) - he absolutely waded the last 150m by El G standards but the thought of that is just incredible.
EG 39.66 last 300 in his WR, Lagat 40.14 in his PR. Jacob would have to come through in 2:45.9 or so and crank a 40 flat if he wants that world record. His last 300 was 40.32 so I think it is possible - he can go 40 last 300, but 1200 split is crucial. Kiprop 2:45.78 last 300 was 40.9 or so. El G 2:44.75 is insane- must be fastest ever at 1200. Last 300 42.22. Fine line, but I think 2:45.9 is Ingebrigtsens best chance.
That's not me being a hater, it's me calling out haters.
The thread calling Jakob first clean WR was removed. I feel that the admin of this site felt so ashamed by its content that they urged to hide its content.
However how many BS threads are still left, and they want them to stay.
