That's because the AIU decided to focus resources on Kenya. They know it. And AIU head Brett Clothier says it'll get worse before it gets better. A blanket ban isn't an option.
Same old lies again. Kenya will again struggle to meet the requirement of one random test in the previous 10 months for world championship athletes and no doubt again have to leave one or two runners home, while elite athletes in Western countries get random tested multiple times in a year. Yes, the AIU is now testing Kenyan road runners which the AK could not do, and we'll likely see dozens of busts over the next 12 months. Nearly every week we will be reminded why the 'natural born runners' could never break 2:10 before EPO.
Not really. I am not wondering. They are all dopers or they wouldn't be top ten. Just look at Kipchoge with his doped teammates and Kiptum coming out of nowhere. Funny that we now have 2:02, 2:03, 2:04, 2:05... runners all banned but no 2:01 runner yet. But that will change soon.
Another bust. The European coaches/agents/ managers and other peripherial parasites need to be held accountable. The ban should be equal for athlete and management alike. Rosa should get 10 years as well.
What a train wreck of a place this is. Come live a day in my shoes man. One day you’ll learn to start to think objectively, maybe even start thinking for yourself; and you might just figure out that the things you don’t agree with are not simply ‘racist’. You do a disservice to people that actually experience racism when you do that.
He told more exact " EPO doesn't work on world top Kenyans training at high altitude"
Now we just laugh at his silly statement.
Which substances were Titus Ekiru provisionally suspended by AIU for? According to the AIU: Triamcinolone Acetonide and metabolite; Pethidine and metabolite
Have you noticed these guys all race in Asia or Europe but never run the majors. Do majors already know they're cheaters so they're invited or these guys know they have better testing at bigger races? We don't even have one 2:03 guy in US. This guy I never even heard of his name.

Coevett with his usual blatant misinformation. Dozens of amateur athletes (good enough to make teams for almost every other country in the world) have not been invited for the national trials as they weren't in the testing pool due to their being "unknown". One example is Brian Komen (remember the name) a talented young guy who's destined for future 1500m greatness.
Athletics Kenya has spelt out elaborate criteria for eligibility to compete at the Kenya trials for the world athletics championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Jfc it takes two seconds for a thread to go off the rails. This is a thread about Ekiru being suspended, and yes there have been many top Kenyans suspended. When people choose to cheat and get caught it puts a stain on your countrymen. Everyone knows and understands that especially the other top athletes that may or may not also be doping. Whether they are doping is speculation and for the group Ekiru trains with sure that speculation belongs here. Whether Jakob or any other non Kenyan is doping is a different discussion and definitely belongs on another thread. I don't even think this thread is the place to speak on other Kenyan training groups that aren't associated with Ekiru. There's plenty of other threads to battle it out with people that want to shout about racism and I really don't understand why this site immediately defaults to talk about banning countries and arguing about racism. It's ridiculous.

It is 3 out of competition tests in 10 months, not 1 as well. There has to be separation between the tests. Truth be told, many NCAA athletes would fail this standard.
