Will Chebet double? Certainly Hassan will, but Kipyegon, Gidey, Tsegay? It will be super interesting to see how they all distribute themselves in Budapest.

It seems like the coverage of this meet is super field event heavy.. Hard to get into these races when we're only seeing 30 seconds at a time every few minutes
Good run for Beamish in his first DL steeple given the conditions, 4th in a fractional 8:17 PB. I think the 8:14.05 Oceanic record is his for the taking this year or next.

Agree. SC showed about 100m at the start, and then the final 2:15. That’s all.

He still doesn’t have the world standard. Will he be in on rankings?

Yeah I think so, even before this he was 4th best of the guys without standard on world rankings

He was ranked #23 at the last ranking and this should bump him several spots I think, so yeah, he should be fine.
Geordie closed well for 4th, but he should have been more aggressive with the pace earlier and *might* have podiumed
Definitely a regular feeling watching George race at the highest level. He seems to want to always have that fast finish in the tank rather than give everything and fade on the last lap.
His PRs could be quite a bit more impressive if he didn't always sit and kick.
