Think about it. New Mexico has been in the top 10 for what the last decade. Then the administration screws up and doesn't try to get Franklin a new contract trying to be cheapasses. So he departs and almost the entire team leaves. Great work by the AD in how to destroy a great program.
Tyynismaa not listed on NC State's 2023 XC roster as of now. All of the other runners have had their listed classes updated, freshman and transfers all added and transfers out/graduates/out of xc eligibility have been removed for both men and women's teams.
Is it just an error on the website's part or did she choose to forego her extra covid year and graduate? Or even grad transfer?
Roster has been updated, and Tyynismaa is now on there

That was a clerical error, lol. Henes asked admin to update roster "quick before Tuohy and Chmiel change their mind". "Just slap it up there; use old photos and bios and add dummy markers for the freshmen and Loveys."
And so they did, but Tyynismaa slipped thru the cracks, as she wasn't on old xc, but also wasn't a new transfer.
Larkin and Grice are now confirmed transfers from UNM to NAU! Along w Ruby Smee from USF this team is looking pretty dangerous considering all the retuning top girls from last year as well as some who didn’t make the nationals team but improved a ton during outdoor. Have to start including them in the discussions of top teams

I would think so- she had an injury during indoor/outdoor so hopefully that’s all healed. Additionally Reiss as well but she still did ok in outdoor although not to her full potential

also Grice 9:48 steeple and excellent recruit Stutzman 4:39, 9:52, who could be an all American, as a frosh.
Finally always tricky with COVID on eligibility, but there were 3 srs last yr, who still have track eligibility and who knows for xc. Morley, O'Neill and Van Pelt.
NAU has it all; low sticks, quality thru 5, and bench strength to handle surprises.

Strong team but if all are healthy I'd say NC St and CO would remain co-favorites.
Even though it looks like Bries redshirted 2019 and thus could have run one more season of cross country, I don't think she's on the team anymore. She's a 2018 high school grad and is no longer listed on the NAU roster on TFRRS. Additionally, I think O'Neill is gone; she's missing from the TFRRS roster, took NAU xc/track out of her instagram bio, and seemed to post a farewell to Flagstaff on there in June.
Even still, they have an intriguing team of returners and transfers. I'm excited to see how the NAU women's team comes together this fall.

Don’t forget Nikita Moore and Megan va Pelt who both also had nice PRs in the 5k during outdoor. And Maggi Congdon …
This is a Krissy Gear level pick up for ARK. LoStracco pr'd by about 10 sec over the course of conf/NCAA rounds in 1500 last year. Projects to 2:00 / 4:06 and will be a champ contender.
