I'm a big Keely fan but there was no way she was beating Moraa on Friday. Even if she'd kicked at 300m to go, Moraa was clearly stronger on the day. I fear that Moraa is just plain better than Keely. If you look at the Eugene race, there was 0.33 secs between them but Moraa ran every bend in lane two or the very outside of lane one, covering a lot of unnecessary extra distance. She probably ran the fastest 800m that day of anyone. She also ran the last 100m faster than Mu or Keely.
That said, we know Keely can run 1:55 and almost certainly 1:54 high. Whether Moraa has the strength to do that is yet to be shown. The fact she's so quick over 400m gives me hope that Moraa's ceilng is 1:56 low.
