alternative perspective: the rest of the field had a really sub-standard performance and Mu looked far from race sharp. I expected so much more from Sage than a 2:00.77.
Mu was 1:29-high through 600m and only saved a decent time by pushing it more in the last 100m. Don't let your American bias fool you, Keely just solo'd a 1:55 the other week
It actually makes a lot of sense, considering this is the middle year of the 5 consecutive championship years. I just wish she/Kersee would have given us that explanation a month ago.
Yes, Kersee and Mu have been saying some strange things, like that Mu didn't even know she was entered in a meet a few weeks ago.
But if you had read any of the threads about Mu over the past few months, you would know that Mu took an extended break from training last fall, and it was taking her a while to get back into good shape. And Kersee didn't want Mu to run until she was in good shape.
Well, Mu is in good shape now. But is she in good enough shape to beat Keely? Worlds will be interesting.
TME still running slower than high schoolers. Parsons looked cooked from 600m and can't even blame the field or pacing because he came off Sowinski early
What Mu said is what I guess is happening why few athletes are competing this season.
Few athletes are competing this season? What are you talking about? Everyone is competing except for those who are injured.
I meant to say, athletes are competing in fewer meets. This season has been a bit dry in terms of quality meets, some also started their season later than we are used to, especially in the sprints.

Its physically painful watching Hunter run. He looks like he is fighting against his own body to move forward. Why has nobody every addressed his form?
