Should have been a red since a couple of heats ago in the 100, some girl was DQ for the same thing. Lucky
Those old boys in red coats decided he wasnt in violation. The kid reciprocated by letting everyone else pass him in the first 100, then said Ive paid my penalty, game on.
1:46 hopeful runs breaks 1:50 for the first time this season in April
i don’t think he’s going to even break 1:47 this year (probably 1:47 low, still a fantastic time) but you would be shocked by how fast a 1:50 can turn into a 1:45 when someone peaks. all i’m saying is don’t bet against him
Aaron Sahlman tried something close to a 2 second positive split, and accordingly, ran within 0.3 s of his pr in a fine race with three sub-1:50s. He went out in 53.32 and came back in 55.76, I think. Now all he needs to do is to go out in 52.2 and come back in 54.2 to get around that record.
Would be cool with an Arcadia Legends mile, bringing back several amazing stars from the past. I'm not sure the kids of today know many of these masters, though Salberg has been more relevant in recent times.
