I am stating up front that I have not read the previous threads so accept my apology if I am rehashing something already addressed.
While hiking this morning I had the following thought:
What if we deleted the labels "Men" and "Women" in sports and replaced them technical terms such as "testosterone-to-estrogen ratio levels of 15:1 or lower" and "testosterone-to-estrogen ratio levels above 15:1". The ratio of 15:1 was absent mindedly used. They could be whatever is deemed appropriate. And using something completely different may be better. Why not consider a scientific approach rather than the traditional men/women labels that can be confusing and hurtful toward those of ambiguous characteristics.
