Lol. Not nearly as much as the clowns in the top two places this winter....and certainly not nearly as much as the joke "winners" of the last wcs and Olympics
Jacobs ran 6.69 and 10.23 and jumped 8.48 (+2.8) at age 21-22. This guy did show promise in Jan 2019 just after his 19th birthday running 6.72. Unclear why completely stagnated until this season.

Didn’t say he wasn’t suspect…He did have major performances at age 21-22 and a long jump focus. This is a sprinter who plateaued with the 60 and 100 as his focus until dropping a huge chunk this year.
It's Keely's last race of the indoor season and I don't she's been very happy with her times. ( great as they are) and so I'm betting she's really going to try for a very, very fast time.
Bol is amazing. What's that, three sub-50s indoors this season? One a world record + the 500 world record. Unstoppable.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Americans loose the next outdoor 4x400 to the Dutch.
Don’t get carried away. Syd and Mu are better than Bol and Klaver as duos. Who else you got on the teams?
SMu vs BoLaver is something of push, need to see when the Americans decide to race. But the Dutch have no answer for Steiner and whomever the 4th runner is. Best splits for the Dutch 3-4 is around high 51/low52. They lose a good 5 seconds on those two.

She won't have to run wide to get past a slowing Yarigo tomorrow, but I don't think that will be enough to compensate for not having a pacer and it being her fourth start in eight days. And if she wanted the fastest possible time in the final wouldn't she have done as little work as possible in the first two rounds?

He plateaued as an 18 yr old?? Lol. We never see sprinters improving after they hit their 20s. Lol

Keep taking things out of context. He did very little from age 19-22.5. That IS rare to then jump from national class to best in Europe and a sub-10 contender. I’m sure there IS a story like injuries, not taking the sport seriously, studies etc. But this isn’t normal.

And Talitha Diggs.. 50.15s US Indoor record holder
Your numbers are very stupid because in fact Femke's WR is under 49 ran last year and Lieke has a PB of 49.89 achieved in January.
Also relay discussions are and always will be stupid because of US depth.
I would just like to inform you that US population is 333,287,557 (2022 estimate) and Dutch population is 17,802,700 (2023 estimate) so for two Dutch runners (Bol & Klavier) there should be at least 37.44236065315935 US fast women, let's round it down to 37 :):):)
Do you see somewhere in the US 37 fast 400m women?

That's not how things work though. Otherwise there should be 98 guys in the US that can run 1500m in 3:28.
As much as I am a massive Bol and Klaver fan, the Dutch 4x4 won't challenge the US 4x4 women's team, their 3rd and 4th runners are not strong enough. However, if they can replicate or better their Munich 4x4 time they can challenge JAM, GBR & POL for a silver and bronze.
The w400m final here was interesting. Bol & Klaver were side by side, and I think if Lieke had lane 5 and Femke 6, Lieke may have got the front, forcing Femke wide. Femke would still have won, but Lieke may possibly have gained a little bit by not slowing slightly as she did to allow Femke to get ahead. Maybe a 50.4 instead of a 50.5
Klaver ran multiple sub 50 relay splits in 2022, her best being 49.2. I think she will go sub 50 in the individual. I wonder of she could go sub 49 in the relay?
