Both Morgan and Constein had a strong kick, but Constein just beat Morgan in the last 5 meters to the line, 8:48.29. She has that steepler speed
Constien 30.32, Morgan 30.64 final 200m. Fast!
I think the camera caught Morgan saying a short bad word right a moment after the finish. I think she regretted waiting to go, and wonder if she would have won it with a longer drive.

Yeah that does not surprise me. I think she waited too long to make her move and could have pushed the pace earlier. Imho she could have won that way.
Looks like Mackay’s speed isn’t quite as good this week! Still a good race for her in 3rd though, should be around 8:36 converted.
well she was pushed more to the limit at altitude....while Orton-Morgan was at a more comfortable pace (and clearly Constein) a little off shat she ran in NY
Which American Record will lead tomorrow's NBC broadcast:

THE FIRST WOMAN EVER OVER 26m! 🤯🤯🤯
DeAnna Price had the meet of her life - bettering the world best twice with a 25.77m/84-6.75 in round three and a massive 26.02m/85-4 in round five! #USATFIndoorspic.twitter.com/w4nLxonF2Z
Will Leer's commentary is horrendous, but who is the guy faking the deep voice?? He just said HOKA oney oney.. not realizing the brand re-branded and didn't realize group training has been around forever from Frank Shorter in Gainesville to Greater Boston Track Club to Hansons... geez.
Facility record so a nice win for Val as they've had USATF indoors here a ton.
Except for the new Mondo track that has been installed since the last time it was held there. If the shoes make you faster, the track surface certainly does as well.
