See this is why Tuohy should never run in the DMR, their team gonna get crushed!
Could Stanford challenge this? They need a better 1600
Juliette Whittaker can run the 1600 leg, so they really need a better 1200.
If Juliette Whittaker and Roisin Willis run for Stanford for a few more years and don't go pro early, Stanford has so many other good runners currently at Stanford and going to Stanford soon, that Stanford should be able to break the record.
On page 65 of the NCAA rule book it clearly states what a really comprises, and then in the NCAA interpretations it clearly states all teams must begin with four runners and a baton. this record isn’t legal. but still a great effort.

To be nitpicky, you’ve described what the NCAA requires for a complete and official relay team to run the race, but that doesn’t say anything about whether a pacer is allowed.
I recall Fasttuohy saying top 10 teams were safe. Haha
I may have been premature - I also forgot only 12 teams qualify as someone then noted in that thread. PSU at 11:04 and currently 10th may need to do something Still not sure how many other teams will break 11:00 though. 9th is 10:58 including UW (which has not been posted yet).
Sophie O'Sullivan who was lead off runner for Washington was a rival of Keely Hodgkinson in her younger days. She came second to Keely in the European Under18 800m race in 2018. To see the race, post the video title below into Youtube. BTW,, Sophie's mum, Sonia, was World 5000m champ back in the 90s

Carley Thomas came back and ran 2:01.9 in open 800 today as well.
Whenever I see fast times at the Dempsey I always wonder if the runners would rather have run them at a "legal" indoor facility. So that facility can't be used for official records, but it can be used for qualifying for NCAA meets?

Yep. It actually is probably about as fast as BU's banked 200m, maybe a tad slower. Legal for Q, not records.

Sophie's form is so much like her mom's "turbo-shuffle". Looks awkward, but sure gets the job done.

A pacer can be allowed but it has to be another legal competitor in the race - in this case the rabbit was NOT legal as per the above rules.
If this was legal, then so would be a pacer on a bicycle.
DEFINITELY not legal for record purposes, and possibly even illegal for NCAA qualifying.
