What percentage of the course(10k) is grass, dirt, or wood chips?
That's a good question. In my head I'd say it's about 25% grass of varying quality, 25% normal fire-road dirt, 25% cobble-stoned dirt, and 25% asphalt-ish/cinder because the horse track was altered for the annual Outside Lands concerts with 100K plus people. The hybrid course and the rains will make shoe selection a challenge. Bring them all if you can and give yourself the best-suited option for you - because some people love spikes and others do not. Also, don't forget the rubberized cleat option like those Inov8 195s. They tend to work great at Golden Gate Park when everything is mucky.
