Anyone else going to say it? About a 4 second PR by someone who just turned 30.
Hasn't had more than a season without injury in the last 10 years. She's a class act. One of the best ways to spot a doper is how the other athletes react to them.. Mageean is clearly loved by her competitors, she's clean as a whistle.
Did the hard miles, stayed the course and her year finally came round, something that might never have happened. Delighted for her!
I don’t really think the how the competitors react thing is significant. That comes down to more if you are likable and outgoing. Dopers can be both of those same as clean athletes. The flip side applies as well.

The hypocrisy here is abso-efin'-staggering!
I actually do think competitor attitude is a good sign.. inevitably competitors know what's what. Okay, another sign is associations. Can you name any coach or training partner in her career who was tainted with allegations of any sort?
The improvement is a slight flag but I don't suspect her of doping as nothing else points to it.
I can beat that. Norris with a 7 second PR within 2 months (4:06 to 3:59). Yes we all 'wonder' about these so called "breakthroughs"
I just looked Norris up. Her pb prior to last year was 4.10, in 2021 she ran 3.59 . Didn't realise it was such a big jump... but her 5000m went from 15.29 to 14.51. These times are a Shelby level of improvement ?
