You received some good suggestions that will work. As I wrote earlier I worked at a sleepaway camp and made it work for me and others.
I worked in many jobs for this camp and built a track program.
Some staff and I had a 6:45 am running club (6:30 on Sunday to get a few more miles in). Many of us also ran at 5 pm between activities and dinner or after dinner (about 7). We also used to take kids on runs around camp preparing them for local races or camp competitions.
As others stated co counselors were helpful switching responsibilities so some of my coworkers could run. The quality of the runs were not great the training was not ideal but a few of us ending up running 10+ miles a day.
It was a privilege creating a culture, motivating kids, and watching flourish in the sport in HS and college.
You can make it work and I bet your boss will love the benefits it brings to the campers.
